  • Jan Goosen says:

Much belated as I only now sadly heard about Mario’s passing. I greatly respected Mario’s vast knowledge and progress thought on precision navigation. When Australia needed to modernise all-weather operations, Mario always provided excellent advice and innovative technical solutions. My sincerest condolences to his family and loved ones.

I’ve only belatedly been advised of Mario’s passing. My sincere condolences to Mario’s family. Mario was part of the modern development of Sydney Airport – parallel runway and emerging technological upgrades over many years. He met his lovely wife during this period as part of the airport team interactions. Always a great person to collaborate with, I’m sorry to hear about his passing.

  • Bob Baker says:

My sincere condolences to Mario’s family. Mario was a wonderful friend and colleague. A true theoretical and practical engineer who was always willing to share his vast navigational system knowledge to all levels of technical and operational staff. Domestically and internationally recognised by many organisations associated with the aviation industry.
I have heard that all people are replaceable. Not so, Mario is irreplaceable.
A friend and mentor to all.
Mario will be sadly missed by all.
