My dearest Zio Pippo, a most loving, generous and warm-hearted gentleman will be so deeply missed by all of his family and friends. There aren’t enough words to encapsulate the wonderful and extraordinary life of Giuseppe Raiti. He came to Australia as a young Italian man, fulfilling great aspirations by serving the community through his amazing skills and charming personality. The innumerable and enduring friendships he cultivated throughout his lifetime are a testament to the truly authentic, honourable, kind-hearted man whom everyone loved and respected. His dedication and devotion to his wife, my aunty Rose, his children and grandchildren, and indeed his whole family, will certainly be cherished as his most treasured qualities. As we mourn his loss, I know that those of us who were blessed to have been loved by my beautiful uncle, will always hold him dear in our hearts, with the very special memories we have of him. May he reap the rewards of his faith and may his soul be at peace with God……..until we meet again.
