My sister Kerry (Butler) and I, and our families, were saddened to hear of Elena’s death. She was a greatly admired and respected friend to us all but especially to our late parents, Alice and Bill. We will always be thankful for her capable, reliable, unstinting and loving support for us all and we always said Italy’s loss was Australia’s gain.
