Farewell to a brother and a friend – and after my father died, someone who looked out for me.
Being the youngest brother, I had the chance to see him pave the way – and in my own way followed – firstly going to Art College and then finally moving away from Southampton – instilling a curiosity for travel.
It meant I had many great places to visit and stay. Paris, Hong Kong and finally Sydney and I visited him wherever he went. Even to delivering him KFC chicken in a bucket all the way from the UK to Paris (yes, he really did request that!)
Of his many obsessions, cars, guns, hi-fis – watches were the only one that ignited my own passion.
Big brother, I will miss you – and know, wherever you are you will be ‘giving advice!’
